Comments: I grew up in Memphis, hearing about the P & H Cafe. When I was of the legal age to visit the P & H Cafe, I moved away (out of state). I continued to hear about the P & H Cafe, even far away. Then I returned home a few years ago. Although I continued to hear about the P & H Cafe, it was only a couple of months ago that I finally, FINALLY, (did I say finally?) visited the cafe! Boy have I missed out! I've got to catch up! This place is just as wonderful as I always heard. The food is stellar! The price is right; the beer is so cold that it almost hurts to swallow it down and the people are wonderful! Oh, and some great local musicians hang out in the P & H as well as occasionally gracing the stage, too! This is truly the "Cheers" bar in Memphis! I highly recommend that you don't wait as long as I did to visit and hang out a while!!

The only American beer that one can get here is Budweiser (Buy-way, the Chinese call it).One can get marlboros and Cuban cigars by the way. I could describe myself and my story but you would not remember. I hear from the world wide net from people that they lament Marty not being behind the grill. I do too, Marty is really a good woman despite it all.I bet she never imagined anybody reading about her from across the world. I also loved Lisa, Wanda's niece. Lisa was a bitch and as rude as I. I loved her. But if I had to work with her 10 plus hours a day I would have canned her too. I miss those greasy cheesebugers and those plank fries, and the cold Buy- ways.
